Creative Easter “Egg”

February 26, 2015momstownCraftNo comments
Break free of the plastic eggs this Easter.

Want to try something new this Easter, or try something new at this year's Easter egg hunt? Plastic eggs are great for kids to find, and can hold everything from candies, socks, or small toys. But this year we are sharing with you a beautiful egg alternative, and it's reusable. Worried about a glass jar with little hands around? No problem – the Dollar Stores carry mason jar look alikes in plastic.

Need ideas on what to put inside your jar? Try these:

  • Small toys or objects from the Dollar Store like this wind-up chick
  • Chocolate eggs, fruit snacks, goldfish, etc.
  • Temporary tattoos or stickers
  • Hair elastics or clips
  • Lip balm
  • Erasers (for school aged children)
  • Gift Cards
  • Socks
