Where should you go with your kids and family this Fall in Central Alberta for some Family Fun? Here is our list of our TOP FIVE places to go!
The Jungle Farm – Pumpkins will easily store till Halloween, even if they are picked in September. Pumpkins are great fall decoration before they become the scary Halloween goblins.
There are lots of opportunities for those perfect scrapbook pictures at the barn. They offer a corn maze, bale maze, trike track, pumpkin slingshot, bull roping, farm animals, wagon rides, a number of wooden play structures and our popular train. New this year is Strawberry Mountain with a 60 foot slide.
They are open to the public Saturdays and Sundays 11 am 5pm and holiday Mondays 11 am 5 pm. Open weekends until October 31st.
Back by popular demand there is Extreme Power Tool Pumpkin Carving on the last weekend in October.
October 4 Fall Family Festival. Open 11-5. Lots of extra activities for this day only.
Fee: $7.50 plus GST / person. 2 and under are free.
Admission includes corn maze, farmyard, and jumping pillow, mini golf and much more! According to the Kraay family famr's webiste, "the sunflowers aren’t looking so sunny anymore but pretty soon they’ll be great bird feeders! The corn is still standing tall with most still close to 10 ft. and now the large cobs are hanging off the stalks waiting for Harvest at the end of October. Most of the flowers have lost their summer glow but some are still hanging in there! And the first frost means it’s pumpkin picking time for us! I am sad to see summer go so quickly but I’m excited that PUMPKIN and Harvest time is just around the corner"
Admission: Kids and kids at heart $12.50 (GST included)
Children 2 & Under: FREE
The Bowden SunMaze is located between Calgary & Red Deer in Central Alberta at Eagle Creek Farms
